2023 FUNDRAISING GALA, THANK YOU!

The Poughkeepsie Public Schools Foundation held its Second Annual Fundraising Gala on April 20, 2023 at The Academy in downtown Poughkeepsie. Your donations and ticket purchases will play a significant role in helping us to achieve our goal to close opportunity gaps and enhance the education of Poughkeepsie City School District students. Thank you!

We were honored to highlight two distinguished alumnae: Lisa Molomot, Poughkeepsie High School Class of 1989 and Alison Mountz, Poughkeepsie High School Class of 1991, two talented professionals who got their start in Poughkeepsie City Schools. Guests were treated to a screening of their award-winning documentary, “Safe Haven.” Attendees included other Poughkeepsie school alums, some parents, current teachers and administrators, retired teachers and administrators, Board of Education members, leaders from community organizations that serve City students, other community members and neighbors, elected officials, and PPSF donors. Guests enjoyed rekindling connections and making new ones.

PPSF is also grateful for the sponsorship of friends and businesses:
